Help CBPO Sam Pratt’s Family With His Final Expenses
Story
On November 23rd, 2022, dedicated Customs and Border Protection Officer Sam Pratt’s life took an unexpected turn when he received a devastating diagnosis: Stage 4 Laryngeal Cancer (Squamous Cell Carcinoma). This disease invaded his larynges, bones, lungs, and liver, leaving him in the fight of his life.
In December, Sam started battling cancer with multiple rigorous rounds of chemotherapy.
On May 20th, 2023, Sam lost his battle.
Sam is survived by his loving wife and rock Ruth, three sons, a daughter, one grandson, six granddaughters, three brothers and a sister.
Sam started out serving his country in the military and continued to serve for over 30 years as a CBPO, spending his most recent years as a firearms instructor for the port of Ft. Lauderdale and Miami.
This campaign has been created on behalf of his wife, Ruth, who is responsible for covering all of his final expenses and can no longer rely on his income.
