Sean Cowie

Creator of HelpACop.com, Cowie a federal officer at the time, was surprised to find that there were no crowdfunding sites geared toward the Law Enforcement community. After learning of a campaign that was cancelled on a leading crowdfunding site because of claims against an active law enforcement officer, he decided to take action and created HelpACop.com. After running a few successful campaigns and completing multiple, agency-changing projects, he realized that his passion for the law enforcement work he was doing did not allow for as much care for his newfound business. As a result, he turned operations over to friends – who were also officers and entrepreneurs.

Angel Martinez

Chief Operating Officer Angel Martinez is an active member of the United States Military, serving as a special forces operator for the Air Force and an investigator within the federal government. With a master’s in accounting, Martinez is also the main funds manager for the platform.

Jay Sinclair

Former Corrections Officer and Manager within the federal government, Jay Sinclair, serves as HelpACop.com’s Chief Executive Officer. Sinclair is also a creative with experience in web design and is HelpACop’s main technical manager, responsible for the new look and feel of the site.
