How do I get more people to see my campaign?

The most important thing you can do is share your campaign with friends, family and any other networks you belong to. Most of your donations will come directly from people who know you or have some kind of personal connection to your campaign. Even if your personal contacts can’t donate, they can still help by sharing your link on your behalf!

Keep in mind that donors don’t really browse HelpACop. They’ll visit your campaign when it’s shared through email, Facebook, Twitter, the local media and any other online community you can share it with. This is why it’s so important to focus on sharing your campaign, and sharing it often. Posting frequent updates will also help drive traffic to your page and get people excited about your cause.

If you’re hesitant to share with people you know, you can always try sharing with a few close friends at first. People typically don’t donate to a HelpACop campaign if they don’t know the Campaign Organizer, unless the campaign has already been somewhat successful. Your initial donations are what establishes your campaign’s credibility.
