Your HelpACop campaign is able to accept contributions as soon as you finish customizing it and we approve/publish your campaign. Donors only need to visit your HelpACop campaign and click or tap the ‘Back Campaign” button to start making their payment.

What kinds of payments can I accept?

Your campaign can accept payments from any Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or AmEx credit or debit card.

HelpACop campaigns cannot accept payments by check, phone, or certain other payment processors (such as WePay and Paypal). If someone gives you cash or a check outside of HelpACop, you’ll be able to contact us to add it as an Offline Donation.

How will I know when people contribute?

  • Successful contributions will immediately appear on your campaign and in your My Account Dashboard
  • You’ll also receive an email notifying you that you received a contribution
  • Your contributors will get a receipt confirming their payment went through
