First, please note that HelpACop campaigns must be tied to an individual, and they must have their full name appear on the campaign. HelpACop campaigns cannot be used anonymously; this policy is in place to prevent fraud and promote transparency.

This also helps your donors feel more comfortable contributing by showing them who is collecting the funds, and it also gives them a point of contact in case they have any questions.

To change your name, please:

  1. Sign in to your HelpACop account at https://helpacop.com/my-account/
  2. Hover over “My Account” at the top of the screen.
  3. Click ‘Profile.’
  4. Scroll to the bottom-right of the page and click ‘Edit.’
  5. Edit your name at the top and click ‘Save’ at the bottom of the screen.
